Long distance walking, perfect for mental reset esp towards sunset

Works even better when you do it twice a day, 15min - 20min per session as a start, just before sunrise and just before sunset. I can't describe the level of great mental clarity that this delivers. No special equipment required too

Roll one. Smoke one. Relax. Then find the activity..

i like it from time to time but i'm trying to stay sober.

Bike ride. Fast and hard to get the steam out then cruising to rebalance.

maybe i should get a mountain bike and try this. there are some nice mountain routes nearby.

Do it! Mtn biking around us is like the holy grail, but a lot of injuries happen on the Slaughter Pen trails. I'm a road cyclist myself and the paved network here keeps me safe from cars.

Either way though its a great outlet.

i'll definitely wear protective gear if i go mountain biking. drivers here are nuts so that's probably riskier than the mountains hehe

Woodworking is pretty fun

great one, i've always been fascinated by wood carving. i should give it a try.

Taking a walk outside! Not only does walking burn up cortisol, looking at nature just good for the soul. 😃

Long walks/hikes. Depending on the issue, I ride my motorcycle for about an hour or two out of town and have lunch at a random park. Sometimes just getting away from it all helps but mostly I hink it's the change of scenery.

running, it will suck the first few times but the "runners high" can be worth it. otherwise long walks are great too.

do some push-ups

Brief hard workout (push up/squats) then sit in the grass in the sun and try to let my mind go blank for 20 mins.
