Fun fact: Pecans are native to the United States. The first successful grafting of a pecan tree was achieved by an enslaved person named Antoine around 1846. This technique allowed for the propagation of superior pecan varieties and significantly impacted the pecan industry.

The farmer I work with here in the Southeast has a few acres of pecan trees that he's been growing for a generation or two now. It's great to work with him and learn a lot about the process.

I planted 6 on my property last year. Hoping the kids and grandkids will enjoy them someday.

Very cool 🤘🏼 another thing to note is that they don’t fruit every year but maybe every other

I remember going to a park up in the Ozarks and the ground was literally carpetted with pecans. I asked someone if they were edible and if so, why hasn't someone come by and scooped them all up for sale? She told me that everyone there had so many pecans on their own properties that they couldn't be bothered to take the ones in the park. Squirrel heaven!

Dude, that’s a blessing in disguise

Just got the HODL butter in the mail today; insanely good. Need to try it with some steak and eggs soon!

Yes!!! Straight from the spoon is the way to go as well. Try it with dates!!
