Just realized I have never been, and may never go, to Maine.

What an odd realization, any particular reason?
It is stunning (in August), and you can swim (for about 5 minutes), but the water even in dead of summer has ice cubes floating in it. Acadia NP, or Camden are some of our favorites.
Acadia is pretty cool.
Why would you never go? Are you banned from the US for mirroring Trump's posts to Nostr? Bar Harbour is pretty nice, then the view from Cadillac Mountain and the whole Acadia...
FWIW, Maine used to just be upstate Massachusetts.
You should.
it's cold up there don't go.
It was on my bucket list as one of the last three states in the country to visit. Got it crossed off a couple years ago during leaf peeping season. It was truly stunning and we were glad we went even though my wife thought it was a dumb idea at first. We totally grok why it is a tourist magnet. Nothing like fresh lobster right off the boat. Colors and colors on all the foliage. Amazing eye candy.
Acadia National park is beautiful. Definitely worth the trip up.
Take a trip up here. Visit Acadia, Bar Harbor, Katahdin. Avoid Bangor and Lewiston. 😂
