Same, the only witchy stuff I know is "satanic" shit. Gathering in the woods late at night, saying words I don't understand, and mixing up liquids, burning various things, and whatever else I've watched them do. It creeps me out I stay away.

Probably not legit no. I had to look that word up, never heard of it, speaks specifically of paganism and I'm not sure the ones I've seen are that involved. I think they mostly enjoy the larping, but I could be completely wrong. Women in the 20s do many things I don't understand.

What an inspiring call to fight against despair! It is almost touching how Satan is portrayed here as the ultimate evil. We easily forget that he is a product of divine will—a fallen angel who was cast out by a selfish and vengeful God.

So this is the loving message of this religion: the world is a battlefield where you should use the talents given to you by a god who cast out his own child and wrote a history full of hatred and violence.

Perhaps that is the true irony. The despair and passivity that we are warned about could be the logical outcome of a religion that forces us to believe that a vengeful father is the ultimate source of hope.
