A huge fallacy on the left that’s tough to combat is that if something comes from or benefits an uber wealthy person, it must inherently be bad

Of course wealthy people can benefit from bitcoin. Many on the left will say “that’s bad!”

Le sigh

BEING POOR IS MORAL. BEING RICH IS IMMORAL. BITCOIN IS JUST MATH.

Welcome to a worldview centered upon envy.

With a perfect money, this dynamic would still exist, albeit in natural equilibrium.

With the worst money in the history of our species, well...we get this.

One other thing I’ll say:

When bitcoin pumps, they’ll want to focus on the rich getting richer. But you know who else benefits.

All us millennials that were crushed by student debt, low wages, affordability crises and beyond. It also positively impacts the local store owner in Kenya accepting Bitcoin, women in Afghanistan saving Bitcoin, merchants in Peru accepting Bitcoin, kids in El Salvador with a brighter future having learned about and saved in Bitcoin.

Fuck the central bankers, politicians and those FUDing what for many of us have given us a shot at a better life

Because bitcoin is 0 entropy money it helps all, even those who don't participate in the network.

That is the problem with a mentality that can only consider a zero-sum game (politics).

However, it's also true that things very often screw over the poor while benefiting the dominant. So, it isn't a bad skepticism to have at first glance. Regardless, what we can do is use the tools that we have, like Bitcoin, for our own sake.

liberals are ngmi for many reasons, including this one.
