I left mine blank because it's confusing.

pet names are more effective when they are private.

On a related topic: I think I've been confused about names until very recently. When people type an @ to tag someone (gossip still has a very shitty UX for this) they have to type something. But some people put unicode crap in their names that are hard to type. I realized only this week that 'name' is expected to be typeable and 'Display Name' isn't, and I have yet to make code changes reflecting this. Petnames should override 'name' and be the thing typed, so they can be used to get past the unicode crap. And displaying the 'Display Name' should probably be optional.

I think there is a trailing "." at the end. A project showed up when I removed it
