Why does the music always have to be so loud?

Are there people who enjoy having peple shout directly in to their ear and still only hearing half the conversation?

Yes it's a lose lose. Can't enjoy music with someone screaming at you and can't enjoy conversation with blasting music.

Unless it's a concert I don't get it.

But maybe you are right and the reptilel brain says "Wow isn't this exciting, won't you check out all this NOISE!!"

Yeah I understand rock concerts etc.. but I was already a grumpy old man in my 20s when it came to bars and nightclubs 🤣

I only go to discos for the music. I do not understand why one goes to a disco to have conversations.

Better go to a bar or restaurants for conversations.

The problem is the bars and restaurants that act as if they are a disco.
