Some life lessons my 9yo son wrote down and hung in his room. 👨👦
Nostr is certainly overflowing with love 💜 and I’ve gone back and gotten a bigger bucket a few times already 🫶🤙

🧠Can you set up a LN wallet for your boy so I can zap him 100 sat?
Sounds like a great kid 🤙
He’s an incredible kid. Very kind, emotionally intelligent, and reads for about 2-3 hours daily. Don’t know where he got it from 😂
Curious, did you forbid him from being exposed to phones/iPads/screens as a kid?
I see many parents turning their children into zombies in that way, while others raise them without those distractions and they turn out with much higher aptitude and respect for others.
I will prohibit my kid to go on screens while I’m 24/7 on Nostr 😂
Exactly 😂 . We definitely let him have screen time. But typically we encourage him to do something more educational. He is a huge Lego nerd and when we discovered Minecraft he went down a rabbit hole. When he does have screen time (usually limited to at most an hour) he typically builds with his friends or watches YouTube videos about how to build different things.
He also plays guitar and knows to not even bother asking for a screen until he’s practiced for at least 20 minutes. Once that’s done he often watches YouTube guides on how to play new songs. Sometimes he just gets into it and plays for an hour.
So… I think the big difference is in quality of screen time. Passive versus active. And we see the same in Nostr and social media. Passive doom scrolling on Twitter versus active community building here. 🤙

That’s amazing doc that your son wrote that. These are lessons that I still haven’t quite cemented as a 40+yo 🤙 thanks for sharing!
