Feeling thankful
Love it
Tough one. Might be a bit chilly in November
Good
the tradeoff is it’s the most vibrant season
the heat of Japanese summer might be too soon/much
October/ early november present a lot of conflicts
You are right, Jack, it's autumn. But it depends on where and how you wanna be. It already snows in Hokkaido, while you can swim in Okinawa, and it's the best autumn season in Kyoto.
BTW, if you want to hold a conference in cities, you need to book the place way ahead, like a year, (unless you have ways to negotiate.)

Good title

Umai!
it’d be stellar.
Japan is one of my favorite places in the world.
one concern i have is that a main barrier to entry in Japan would be cost.
Where Uvita’s barrier was more about putting forth the effort to get there.
the difference is a conference filled with people that can afford to be there vs. one filled with people that really want to be there.
(obvs there is some overlap.)
great point. I think these will be international in general tho, with a focus on expanding global community
I'm in the beginning stages of planning a Japan trip for September. Would love to attend if that lined up
