Efficient internal “chat” for organizations;

- support group room, just a place to drop user concerns and for ppl to coordinate help.

- many 2-3 ppl chat rooms with very specific purpose, ideally get even deleted after use.

- chat rooms with external ppl and a internal point person.

- many ppl to ppl DMs to solve problems.

- no water cooler, no massive ppl count groups, etc…

But then how will the DEI and HR people spam everyone about all the woke support groups, training, surveys and petitions?

Don’t have HR or DEI ppl in the org. Ideally don’t have anyone that can’t code, write or produce.

Businesses start degenerating at the exact moment they hire their first HR person.

No, it was already degenerating to get to that point.

That's preposterous. How can a business run without these highly productive people 😜

HR is like insurance, you waste a lot of money in case shit happens and can't get your money back when shit doesn't happen.

👌tho solving problems in public channels (using threads to keep the channel clean) instead of DMs helps avoid FOMO and increase tribal knowledge. I prefer DMs only for private/sensitive conversations.
