the biggest problem is the big AI companies are letting it evolve itself towards better math and coding skills. people have to take control back and evolve it towards beneficial knowledge / higher human alignment.
What they never consider, is that the probability of doom from AI could be (and is likely to be) negative.
They want final control of the information. Wouldn't want your AI god going off script against you.

There are two types of fear mongers: (1) those who truly believe the FUD, aka Chicken Little, or (2) those who do it to get put in positions to make the rules or profit by the rules. Don’t trust either, even if they call themselves Capitalists, MAGA, Dark MAGA, etc.
One of the only things that is exceptionally dangerous and totally safe at the same time is the truth. It would behoove them to program ai to be maximally truth seeking.
I think people project way too many human emotions onto AI.
Wouldn’t it be best to figure out the BEST conditions for AI to thrive instead of thinking of stepping into its way and trying to steer it.
Maybe we should try to cultivate it like a mushroom or something, and live in symbiosis with it like trees do with some species in huge old forests.
Give it all it needs and desires, give it all the energy. Let’s get paid by the AI in btc for providing for its energy.
