I am told I spaz a lot in my sleep like I am falling. And when I was growing up I remember dreaming about precarious situations and eventually falling. Those dreams went away mostly as an adult but I continue to physically spaz like I am falling. What does that mean?
Robert Monroe theorized that the sensation of falling in dreams was related to journeying out of body unconsciously in our sleep, and suddenly being called to return to our physical body quickly which creates a "falling" sensation.
Did these dreams also include flying? What sort of precarious situations did they include? Have you tried developing superpowers? 🤔
I have tried the lucid dream thing and somewhat had fly, but it was more like fancy jumping on less gravity. The flying ones don’t result in me falling though.
I vividly remember one where I am traversing a thin scaffolding on the side of a cliff face.
When I was a kid, I really want to be a Jedi. So yeah I guess you can say I have tried developing powers. 😄

I like the holographic universe but nothing beats Bentov's stalking the wild pendulum IMO. Robert Becker's The Body Electric dives into the biological aspects as well which are very interesting and make it all feel real and embodied.

I have secret life of plants on the shelf! Currently reading through a book on reiki someone recommended to me but the next on my to read list is Unified Reality Theory by Steven Kaufman. In the second to last chapter Campbell finally admitted he will not discuss the physics of his theory at all in my big toe and recommended Kaufman if you were interested in that aspect of it 🥲

Yea 😅 I think someone broke something when I was a kid and I got too good at it.
Wasn't until like five years ago a very good doctor casually started asking me about my preference for video games. I said FPS games were super hard and confusing because the perspective was so claustrophobic, I preferred RPGs because it was a normal perspective.
He was just like 🤔✍️ "third person perspective is "normal" for you?" I've since gotten better at being embodied but life is weird 🤣

Yes, I've recommitted myself to practicing after a long time spent trying to avoid it and failing 😅
But whereas most "normal" people have to try to go into theta state to experience this; the theory my doctor developed was that I was operating in theta state more often than not. So now I do a lot of meditation work with the alpha-stim to come out of theta; a lot of grounding and somatic work. It's improved my situation remarkably.
I still will do the theta / OOBE type explorations, but now it's more on an understanding that this is a trip I'm taking to return from. It's not that I'm letting reality feel like a dream semi-permanently.
Wow! Would be super stoked to hear about that over coffee (my wife is so bored with this stuff!) Silva Method is on sale atm and lifetime redos. Very strong in the alpha stuff with some remote healing and viewing rolled in to keep it spicy.
