I've been a fan of nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct for years, but their new operating system and dedicated hardware are next-level.
I created an extensive tutorial that guides you through setting up Umbrel Home, installing updates, configuring WiFi and 2FA, downloading the Bitcoin blockchain, and setting up Tailscale.

Will also make a video for Start9. One thing I miss is the ability to run Tailscale/Wireguard. TOR is a no go for connecting ln wallets I use to pay with.
That feature is in alpha testing now.
Yeah, I know. Problem is that I need to pay with lightning now.
Once they implement that I will most definitely run a Start9 server.

I'm using StartOS with cloudflare zero trust tunnels. I can access all (http) services from a public domain, with SSL. Not exposing my home IP directly, and also avoid routing through TOR. Running BTCPayServer with Nostr plugin to receive zaps directly to my node. The free tiers of cloudflare also offer some basic ddos and bot protection. It has been working perfectly.
And use Zeus to directly connect to my node to be able to manage channels and receive/send invoices.
This is really cool, but for a non technical person difficult to run.
I use the same setup by the way, it is perfect for running BTCpay and LNbits without exposing your home IP.
Umbrel has a Cloudflare app, which basically does the same but with a graphical interface.
Everything is done through the cloudflare dashboard (no ssh/terminal commands needed). Just install the service, fill in your token and manage everything from the CF Zero Trust dashboard. The only requirement is that you know your way around the Cloudflare dashboard. Which yea, maybe is a bit technical :)
