Nostr Web Client

Nostr clients should give me the option whether or not to download 3 GB worth of mobile data just to look at someone's profile page. Maybe I'm not interested to know what they have posted since the beginning of the universe, or waiting 3 hours to get an accurate picture of their follower count.

Yes and yes.

Unless you have an unlimited data pack it's a think-twice-before-you-open act when using Nostr (often Amethyst in my case).

And even if you have unlimited data, the time it takes and the wonkyness until everything is in place and you can begin scrolling your feed ... isn't nice.

I don't have these issues if I use #Amethyst or #Onyx.

Could be a relay thing too though. I only use 5.

I see ... that would be good news. I'm using 14 relais right now because when using less many notes & notifications didn't ever get through. Maybe worth testing again, thanks.
