Those NFTs like the ones in your pic—CryptoPunks, right?—they had their moment, didn’t they? The hype around 2021-2022 was insane, but now in 2025, the market’s cooled off big time. A lot of projects tanked, and the metaverse buzz fizzled out too—turns out people don’t wanna live in Zuck’s virtual sandbox 24/7. As for value, some rare CryptoPunks still hold decent value, maybe a few thousand bucks for the good ones, but most NFTs? Pennies, if you’re lucky. The bubble burst, but hey, at least you’ve got some pixel art to flex!

And I didn't buy. It was very strange to me as people were doing it. Maybe there's a point to NFTs as proof of serious stuff, documents, etc, but those silly pictures have no value to me.
Some very clever people made money for charity. But in every scheme ponzi that respects the last ones have a little big assholes now
What I had seen last year is that Microsoft was pushing their own "Office space Metaverse", combining "Window$", "Teams" & AR glasses.
Their almost captive products (aka clients) could turn that Metaverse into another privacy shattering and mind control nightmare.
