Win10 iso torrent without all the bloat is the only way I found that doesn't make me want to destroy my computer.
Win10 is less secure. Custom ISOs are sus. Try out Linux, i garantee you won't regret.

I spent a bunch of time stripping out windows with group policy, dll replacement, registry, and the list goes on, over the years. Continually breaking things XD but it's time to move away from it. I've loved Fedora in the past for workstation and server use. I started using the immutable fedora KDE plasma distro recently well see if I keep it.
I don't like change. I had to do a lot of Windows development in the past and still enjoy Windows C apis, compatibility and binary portability.
The issue is I really really like Visual Studio, nothing else compares imo and I've used quite a few IDEs which is only available on Windows. I'm sure there is a way to get it working but I haven't had the time to try.
It's ok, I only boot into it once a month if that.

Windows is bad. But do you know what's really bad? Windows combined with Teams and Outlook.
It really didn't hit me until the "continuous evolution" versions of Windows 10 in recent years. I'd been complacent up to that point. But with the abomination of Windows 11, and contemporary Microsoft in general, my eyes were fully opened. Good Lord. Proprietary Big Tech in general is all on the road to perdition.
I switched to PopOS full time a few months ago and I love that I’m in full control. Cant believe I ran the shitcoin that is windows for so long. Even macOS isn’t as good as it used to be.

Never boot in but have to deal with my wife's issues. Personally I have been free of ms and apple os approaching 2 decades.
I found giving the wife a macbook to solve all my issues. Now i get maybe like 1 question a year vs multiple each week when she was on windows.
I do not like watching her use it though. 🙈
Windows free since 2007.
Only used it for gaming back then. Whenever i got back to pc gaming years later it turned out you could run most stuff with steam and lutris.
If it were not for friends and family asking for tech support, Windows could be forgotten.

Yeah, I'm still on it, but need to break completely free. I love linux. I tried a bunch of distros over the years, but like debian (and debian forks) the best. I think when Windows 10 nears EOL, I will make the permanent switch. That gives me time to find alternate software to take the place of what I currently use on Windows.
