To be able to zap with one click with a previously chosen amount.
it would be nice to show the zaps in the notes and that they could show the comments inscribed in the zaps. It would also be nice to be able to reply to them.

by notes, but of course the comments in the zaps can also be zapped. zappity zap! it may be interesting to reflect the value of the zap in some way in the note, e.g. background colour and playing with the opacity or something
Please make it easy to zap via mobile. I still haven't found a client that has a good mobile zapping feature.
Most of Twitter is accessed via mobile and I think, eventually, most of Nostr is too.
Can you describe what's the optimal flow?
Top of my head, it needs to be seamless from clicking on the ⚡ on Nostr to pressing 'pay' on a Lightning wallet. The smoother that process is the more zaps will occur.
In a perfect world (maybe in the future) we would have Lightning wallets built into the Nostr client.

Are the zaps grouped by notes or why would you like to get back to the note? By note you mean the zap comment or the note that was zapped?

So you would go to a users profile. There you would see all the zaps he/she received (chronologically) and link to the related note. Now when i receive a payment on the wallet I have to go through all my nites to see which nite and who did it.

What happens to the anonymous zaps?
Are they counted for or are they hidden from public?
Anonymous zaps show the amount but show 'Anonymous' insead of the name who zapped it. Not sure how snort does it. Maybe they use a general 'anonymous' npub for these.

if a post is reposted, not sure what the circle arrows icon is, only seeing it once. atm if a post is reposted by many people i will see it many times and it clogs up my feed
It's a reboost (or retweet in birdsite terms). The duplicates are a known issue and should be gone in the future.
1) Amethyst has this cool feature of getting two option as 'Boost' and 'Quote' when we click on the repost button. That makes quote posting much easier than copy-pasting the note ID. We need that here.
2) There is some issue with the Zap function. It often says "provided payment details are invalid" while trying to zap somebody.
3) Like the "List" function on Twitter, we should get an option of categorizing the profiles we are following so that contents don't get mixed up. I think Facebook also has something similar where we can actually categorize our friends.
Desktop must-haves: Choosing our own image hosting providers, and being able to configure our own nostr.json
You can change your NIP05 from the Edit Profile view if you want to change it.
nostr.json is server-specific and needs to be changed with access writes to the server. What you mean by configurable?
nostr.json is where NIP05 verification is done. I don't know that changing the file itself is even a good idea, perhaps it could be changed in some instance-specific configuration file?

i can see them on iris but not on damus - can’t figure which relay they using
It think it would be cool to either be able to look at someone's profile and see your mutual posts (thinks you commented on together or tagged each other in) or be able to enter 2 npubs with an & symbol and get the same information?

Zapping is coming to Iris gradually. You can already send zaps and they are registered. It's still work-in-progress.
For example, zaps don't appear in the listing immediately, App versions of Iris may have difficulties opening the default wallet and choosing the zap type is under development.
