When it turns out to be true that Saylor went out of his way to prevent devs from getting funding

Will you summon enough digital energy to stop sucking him off?

Coming across this note without context is a wild experience.

Would have been even better if you replaced that last sentence with:

Knock your idols off the pedestal. Saylor is interesting, I think he's done some good for adoption, but he's also got his own motives and I could see a situation where he's interested in ossification over new development.

Can someone explain the context? There are many questions. "...prevent devs from getting funding" is something I could see myself supporting if for example the rest of the sentence was "from JPMorgan Chase". I agree we should have no heroes but being objective is important. It seems imprudent to judge people on rumors. "What have you done for me lately" seems to be an equally reactive flipside.
