I think there is a purposeful effort to confuse zionism with Jewish people as a whole so that right wing neocons might feel free to call any opposition the current Israeli genocide racist, the same way the left has been trained see any disagreement with their own postitions as racism or bigotry.

The goal is to destroy all capacity for nuance in the minds of the masses. If people cannot communicate with each other because they have been poisoned against hearing or understanding the language used by others, then everyone becomes easier to manipulate.

Very good point. Also seems very coincidental that all of the college campus protests happened to be tightly organized to occur simultaneously. And if you asked the attendees their thoughts or opinions they tell you to speak with the organizers. Something very fishy there. You might be onto something.

It's perfectly fine for them to be against Israel's attacks on Gaza. I even support their right to protest. But they lost a lot if not all of credibility in my mind with their distreatment of regular Jewish people trying to go to college, who likely have zero ties to Zionism ideology. Calling for intifada and chanting Hamas mantras. Throwing a temper tantrum and threatening some rando Jewish person who looks like lil dicky the rapper, isn't going to do anything to stop a war-pig like Netanyahu, all it does is reveal them as Jew haters.

I think that was by design. I have heard rumors that students believed people were being brought in for the protests & that the protestors weren't students at all.
