I sometimes don't really know what I'm doing here. I work more hours for Nostr, than for my full-time day job, but I'm a permanent outsider and I don't know if I'm even having an impact on anything.
I think I just don't have the social skills to quit.

How do you work more hours for Nostr than your day job? I've yet to manage that. Too much to do at the day job.
There are 24 hours to the day, and only 8 to the day job. And there are weekends, holidays, and vacations.
Yeah and presumably 6-8 hours are spent sleeping, some cooking, some taking care of the home, plus time with the spouse and family, plus time for other social or recreational activities.
Yeah, so, my math checks out. 🤷🏻♀️
I've managed to get 1-2 hours per day on weekdays when I'm on a good routine, and sometimes more on weekends.

I'm legit just part of the 🥜 gallery. I showed up here and nobody even noticed my arrival. I had to go dig people up, individually, by interacting, and almost all npubs have never seen anything I've written.

nostr needs more outsiders
Nostr is the hardest place for outsiders, that I've ever been. Even more cliquey and insular than our little mountain village.
The Gleichschaltung is real.
Express your highest self without fear & let those who need to hear your message find it.
Don't worry about those who aren't ready to hear it yet.
Even if you're only speaking to a single person, do not underestimate how important that is.

I've always liked following you. You're smart and work on cool Nostr stuff that isn't just "social media" based. When you switched up relays a while back you disapeared from my feed and I wondered if you went off to some personal relay, never to be seen again. Glad I'm seeing more again.
I seem to miss a lot cool posts on Nostr, end up having to read through profiles to see what's been happening. I think I need to setup some feed lists and that might get better. Following hashtags seems to drown out follows in my main feed, but allows for new people to be found.
