Beef Tallow Lotion Recipe:
Ingredients:
* 1/2 cup (120 ml) beef tallow (cooled and solidified)
* 1/8Its cup (60 ml) distilled water
* 2 tablespoons glycerin
* 2 tablespoons coconut oil or jojoba oil
Instructions:
1. Mix the ingredients : In a small saucepan, combine the cooled beef tallow, distilled water, glycerin, and coconut or sweet almond oil.
2. Heat the mixture : Place the saucepan over low heat and gently warm the mixture until it reaches a temperature of around 100°F to 110°F (38°C to 43°C). Stir occasionally to ensure everything is well combined.
3. Cool and thicken : Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool slightly, allowing the mixture to thicken. You can speed up this process by placing the saucepan in an ice bath or stirring in a small amount of cooled beef tallow (if you have some left over).
4. Strain the mixture : Once the mixture has thickened, pour it into a clean glass jar and let it cool to room temperature.
