Designers out there: I am looking for a deep review & suggestions of Amethyst's colors in light mode.
The gray shades seem to be getting old and the background color for new posts feels ugly. Padding/border suggestions are also very welcome.

Light? As.. light instead of dark?? Nooooooo...!
Then I guess I'm a psychopath because light mode is a much better reading experience everywhere.
My suggestion is to get rid of the shading and make it white as well, then make the border darker but also thinner if possible. It's very appeasing and provides a great reading experience in the other bird app.
This recommendation is mainly for notes embedded in other notes using the quote feature. I don't think new posts need to be highlighted in the app personally. If you want to still keep that feature maybe make the post dividers purple like the color of the "post"button when making a note.
Also asking for some interface improvements to improve scrolling smoothness.
Most of my work in the past 4 weeks has been performance improvements. It's not easy.
I appreciate it, this wasn't a complaint just a hope. You have the best client on Android and I want it to succeed.
I noticed, that Amethyst only works via WiFi but not on my mobile connection. Is that intentional?
It should work on both.
I would probably test a purple color sheet of 5 different shades. Make the second lightest the background color, the second darkest the primary color for buttons and such, the lightest for background of larger areas with text, and the darkest for text color and highlights.
