Windows 7 was the end of the road from me. Had a lot of fun in the early days. But Linux is my daily driver now. And will be to my grave.
I remember when you could only get Linux on fragile big floppy drives. The internet was too slow, and mostly non-existent. Sometimes we used acoustic couplers.

I take very little from The Verge seriously, but the presentation they reference talks about both cloud and custom silicon, which is going to be the only way to remain competitive in the next 10-20 years.
Whether we like it or not, most people use their devices in a Cloud + ARM symbiosis alreadyโฆ
I hope people switch to Linux but I doubt it. Most are gonna be tricked into switching with a feature than Windows cloud will only have.
