Hi Matthew I saw your brilliant video on YouTube about Nostr and have joined the network. Can't say I find it very intuitive to use but then I don't use Twitter either it just seems to throw everything all on one page which is a mess to me, I'd much prefer segregated names to look at what's going on from individual people. Anyway just wanted to say your YouTube videos are some of the best out there on bitcoin as I don't like any of that chart astrology crap...

Free speech is stoppable on Nostr. Why? Because devs continue to allow adult profiles to be reported and thereby suppressed from being seen.

Guess the best solution would be an own client for adult content designd by somebody that knows the rules in this field.

It's fair to say Amethyst and Damus are p much (currently) THE The NOSTR clients for mobile. So it sort of matters how they behave. Yes you can make an alternative client but realistically is that going to have any reach?

I onced realized that iris is giving me just the half of the content i had on plebstr and never came back to it. i changed from plebstr to amethyst cause it was to slow. I will swich from amethyst to yana possibly if they add some things cause they are more stable and fast.
In 12 month this will be another place.

At the same time that's the beauty of nostr because there's multiple client options that can be used for the same audience. It's literally a free market to where you can go anywhere and not lose your followers. So, there is still free speech on nostr, just change clients. I agree with the ability to just block because we are adults, but I also think that the developer of the client can set the parameters that they chose. It's how a free market works.
Stop using amethyst app. Use another app. Primal also has an android app.
