I like GrapheneOS. My main issue is finding a decent keyboard. I've tried several, but they all seem to struggle... Perhaps it's just me.

I'm using anysoft. It's certainly not as good as the Google keyboard, but it's my favorite so far.
I've also had to just become more patient over time with it.
Looking back to my Nokia phone I am grateful 😂
Haha. I'm finding that as well. I haven't set up any quick logins as well. Just the passcode. Going old school.
Agree. Im using unexpected keyboard. Its ok. Do you have issues with the senitivity of the keys? "A" seems less sensitivev. Not sure if it is aphone or keyboard software issue
I'm using Futon with swipe text. For the life of me I can't get it to write the word 'we'. It always comes out as WWW.
I stuck with the stock one & just turned off autocorrect & spell check. Most other things have spell check built in. There are some emojis if you hold down return, & the stock keyboard doesn't risk compromising the overall security of the whole phone. It isn't great, but it could be worse.
Interesting. Maybe that's my next move.

I use GBoard but limited its network access.
I use ThumbKey, a keyboard which does not depend on predicting keys and words but on new layout. It solves the initial issue the QWERTY layout has on mobiles, as it is not meant for being used there.
Takes a week to get used to, but after that you'll be typing at speeds that seemed impossible before. I use the 'split' layout for my language - cannot recommend enough!

I've been getting used to FUTO. I think I'll drive it for awhile.
I've been using futo keyboard and it is great! Free (as in liberty) and open source and it even does voice dictaion offline
I've settled on Futo for now.

Florisboard has been my go-to
I'm currently using the beta version so I'm missing swipe text and suggestions, but I've been really liking it for a few years now
GBoard with no network access 👌
I've tried the stock keyboard, Floris, and OpenBoard but they all sadly have some very annoying issues.
