This is understandable. If you use WeChat you know what you're viewing and posting is visible to the authorities. Social media is heavily censored in China, so savvy people there immediately see the value of Nostr. And believe me, the Chinese are tech-savvy.

In order for the Global south to adopt/onboard. #nostr needs to tackle spam in a way that doesn’t require them to pay relay fees equivalent to their daily living costs.
