I really don't like sharing problems with developers. I really do my best to try and fix the problem myself first, making sure I exhaust all possible options before I have to share issues with the devs
This is just one of those days

Well now I am just curious what your problem is lol.
Many misc probs with simple updates
nbd really but before you contact the dev who built it, you should really do your best to try to fix all your problems yourself
If it still doesn't work, then reach out & share in detail your issue(s)
I completely agree with you.
Most of the time I am too stubborn to go to the developer myself. I have to be on the struggle bus for awhile.
One of the most annoying things for me is when I have been struggling for a long time. I finally get the bug up my ass to contact the original developer for a piece of foss I need as a dependency. Only to find out the developer abandoned the project and has gone MIA.
So then I have to decide do I really want to fucking maintain this orphaned package, or find another solution. This has happened to me a lot actually now that I think of it lol.
Can you help me then? 😂
I'm def not the dev or dev op's I wanna be lol
I'll do what I can for anyone on here
In my opinion, this is kinda unfortunate. Seems like a missed opportunity to meet user needs, of course as a paid service from engineers.
I just don't want to be a constant bother to them; all devs build build build and that's good
Users should report bugs as often as they can, but only after they themselves and tried multiple paths to sort out the issue
Then report 💜
