The importance of watching the sunrise each morning - per Jack Kruse
Discussion
Been doing this lately "by accident" and it's been great. Also nice to see both the sunrise and the sunset of each day, just from a sort of poetic angle.
Never wear sunglasses.

Different types of sunlight are good for different things. Morning, afternoon, evening sunlight all play unique roles to health.
Iβm aware after studying for the last 2+ years πβοΈ
Hey Kendy π
I listened to most of the podcast you recommended. I find myself nodding along to a slew of things, but was curious what actionable things I should take away are. I just vaguely have the idea that light is more important for my health than I appreciated, but now what?
Start with never missing a sunrise outside or with a window open the rest of your life, if possible. Cloudy or not. (Without glasses π or contacts and with maximum skin exposed as comfortable). Bare feet touching Earth for bonus points and effectiveness.
Pair that with dimming your environments as dark as functional (and safe) after sunset and before sunrise. Consider amber or red tinted glasses if itβs tough to control bright LED lighting at night.
Those 2 are the most powerful and impactful. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks. Iβll make a conscious effort to try. Zero downside anyway π
