Am I the only one that actually wants to be in a jury? 😂

To my wife and sister-in-law it was literally the most hellish and awful news ever. (Both were able to avoid it luckily) nostr:note1v0n0h4wfkzlkzvz3899dhsckur5j76dma8hyhu0h3f9wv8accd8srhd957

You just want to practice some nullification on your unsuspecting fellow jurors. ;-)

Yuuuuuup

In almost 20 years I’ve never been called. I know people who’ve been called 4 times. I am starting to wonder if I’m on some kind of list.

I was on a jury once for a criminal case where a guy punched a police officer in the face 😆

INNOCENT! 🤣🤣

Funny enough some people on the jury were convinced he was and we had to go in a second day! 🤣😆🥲

I did a grand jury over many months (about 4 hours a week) all capital murder. Of 30 ish cases, we let one guy off. Always the prosecution and no defense team. You truly could indict a ham sandwich.

You’re not the only one. I served on a jury once. It was fascinating and our civic duty. Nobody who is innocent wants to face a jury of your peers who couldn’t get out of jury duty.

Nope, I'm there with you. I've wanted to do it for the experience. Both times I got selected the cases never made it to trial.

Damn lawyers and their settling ways.

From the sidelines, I hope I'd ever "vote" to condemn someone to the state.

You can literally save someone's life

@QOTD Immediate answer

They are on trial … what then

No I would love to be on a jury, I got called once but they ended up not needing me. I would love to be a part of jury nullification

Only reason I’d go

I definitely want to be on a jury. I fully expect to be the type of person that is i was interviewed, the prosecution would dismiss me in a heartbeat though lol

No. I was pumped when I was summonsed most recently and ended up serving on the jury. I hope to get a more involved criminal case next time.

I have only ever been summoned once and was looking forward to it but didn't get selected for the case.

I get a jury summons every year now. Blah

Your honour, the jury finds the defendant innocent on account of it being the banks' fault. We are in total agreement after looking at the evidence and listening to 10hrs of my podcast.

I always thought of making a tshirt that says: I see guilty people.

I thought it was so cool

10/10 would do again
