“Not enough funds to cover payment.” I’m making sure the fee included doesn’t exceed but no matter how small I can’t seem to manually send either.

Do you have a channel open in your custodial wallet?

Yes and my inbound is larger than what I’m trying to receive into it as well.

We recommend removing and re-adding the mint in question and trying again.

Minibits was also having some operational issues this week, so you may want to also change your default mint for the time being, if issues persist.

Who are some mints that you recommend? Also best practices for using mints? How many, etc

21mint.me has always been reliable for me

Wouldn’t you loose your funds if you removed the mint??

No. You can restore your Cashu funds deterministically (as long as the mint is still operational). Just hit the ‘Check for existing funds’ toggle when adding the mint.

How are you able to send ecash from one mint to another?

Generate an invoice with one mint and send it with funds from another. It should be clear which one you’re using in the UI on the send and receive views.

Hm just tried this. Sent 100 sats from minibits to voltz mint, but I don’t see it there. I removed the mint, re-added it and even ticked the look for funds option you mentioned. Any idea what I did wrong here?

If the balance doesn’t register, go back to the invoice in the Activity view and it should complete the payment.

Got it. Thank you, learned something new.

Seems that there’s a few little bugs or Easter eggs that some users need to know about, such as this issue

Maybe do a series of videos in a faq type of fashion to demonstrate how to troubleshoot

Will fix this one in the next build.

Nice 🤘🏼

Another tutorial 🤣🤣🤣

Multimint swaps (send ecash from one mint to another) in cashu.me is a piece of cake, hopefully zeus will have a similar ux

Thank you nostr:nprofile1qqsrf5h4ya83jk8u6t9jgc76h6kalz3plp9vusjpm2ygqgalqhxgp9gpr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmqpzfmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujue3h0ghxjmcq9k4f3 I’ll try that.

I also keep getting timed out errors trying to do any Lightning payments. What would the reason(s) for that be?

Could be your destination doesn’t have good inbound liquidity. Or it could be an issue with your wallet. First start with toggling/pressing the four items under Menu > Embedded node > Troubleshooting.

If you still have issues with payments, try increasing timeout time or max fee limit under the advanced toggle when you have an invoice pulled up, before you hit pay.

Oh I guess liquidity goes both ways doesn’t it lol

I’ve loaded up my primal wallet only one time a year ago with Mutiny and never touched Lightning since. So I can’t remember how I did it. How can I see what my primal wallet’s inbound liquidity is?

I think it’s custodial? You’d have to ask them. We can only provide support for our own wallet 😅

Definitely try the troubleshooting steps in ZEUS first!

You’ll know I’ve figured it out when I zap you for your trouble. Thank you!

Primal’s app is custodial so no need to worry about inbound liquidity.

Thank you my brutha
