Is that because people don't want to zap as much because of number go up or because Zapping is harder has wallets have become harder to use/left the USA, or user growth is stagnant?

It's probably all of that. Plus other stuff. Slow down is ok, I think. I got anon zapped 1k sats on a laughing emoji once... reckless (if you're still out there, anon, I'll never forget that 🤣💜)

I've been oddly surprised by what people find meaningful enough to part with their money over, myself included. There's still a lot to learn about "what's valuable" when the usual rules no longer apply.

One thing I had happen before was I zapped someone 1k sats accidentally because the default in Damus was set to 1k. I don’t know if I set that default before I knew what I was doing or not, but I since reset it to 21 sats. Maybe the 1k was an accident.

It totally could have been but it was anonymous so there was no way to know or ask.

1K was the default early on I believe.

I don’t even remember that lol

Also some of the early novelty of zaps has worn off now. When they were new people would zap anything just for fun whereas now I think people are more targeted with what they zap. We also used to have regular zapathons which have died down now.

Think WoS pulling out and alby going into a waitlist slowed it down alot.
