Who is the CEO of Nostr?

Asked by yours truly,

Amanda Wolf, Executive Assistant at Nostr

Thank him for recommending the book The Three-Body Problem. It was great. 🤙🏻

Same here!

What’s the biggest barrier right now to energy companies vertically integrating Bitcoin mining into their own generation and distribution operations?

How did he make his voice so good for podcasts?

Thoughts on nostr?

Mining perspective on ordinals?

What innovation is in the #Bitcoin space is he excited about over the next two years?

Appreciate you both, making my way through the Brain and it's awesome so far...

Why is Bitcoin energy currency?

How does energy currency change the grid?

How high is near term hash rate going to pump?

Bitcoin mining outside of its own industries

Is it worth to consider bitcoin mining to be introduced as side businesses for industries that have great energy contracts (low price) and are used to high capex? Is he working on that already? Thinking about chemical / process and steel industries specifically. Thanks a lot and looking forward to this talk.

Other advantages that apply in such industries are the smoothing of the energy consumption, as energy price also depends heavily on the fluctuations of consumption.

Discuss the "earth as a global circuit board" idea from Lowery (sauce: https://youtu.be/fL23a7nqh1M)

Do you have a timestamp for this? Or do I have to watch the 2 hour v

Starts getting into it at about 54 minutes in where he first draws the earth on the whiteboard.

Do you think there are grasshoppers in the Sahara Desert?

1. How is Intel going to change the Bitcoin Mining industry?

2. What will happen to profitably in the future when ASICs start to hit physical limitations in terms of efficiency gains?

3. How will mining pools stay decentralized long-term? Fedipools?

Ask him why all the rolls at that sushi place he took me to tasted the same lol 😂

Ask him if he thinks intel is going to be competitive with Chinese asic manufacturers. Have we lost American ingenuity and institutional knowledge? Is bitcoin mining a possible path to bring it back?

The sushi was fire. You have the palate equivalent of a toys r us.

Hahahahaha no it was bomb af. I actually enjoyed the fact that every roll tasted the same lol 😂

😂😂😂😂

Eel Sauce Everything

I’d be a little curious his thoughts along with yours on how a Senator(Elizabeth Warren) from Massachusetts asked ERCOT a Texas utility company about their business. She stepped way out of her lane in the spirit of the letter and demands for change/information. Not her state….Lee Bratcher from TX Blockchain Council called out in the letter…..uninformed staffers coupled with ESG agenda based Senators = 🤢

Thank you Preston for all you do.

⚡️🤘⚡️

More or a “far out” question but is he aware of any companies focused on miners integrating with residential applications? (I.e. pool heaters / HVAC / Water Heaters) even it it was putting together documentation for a “how-to” and maybe selling the plans.

I’d love to get into mining this way but I haven’t found a good source or “how-to” even if for the experience and education.

I like that guy. He’s good on WBD

His perspective on future fee market and the necessity of a tail emissions (from a miners perspective)

Best data sources on BTC mining? Where does he get the most comprehensive info from on mining strategies etc?

Whats got the hashrate going up so much lately? just from price increase in btc? Esitmated difficulty adjustment at 12+% at this point seems crazy huge

Who are the leading people/companies that are innovating home mining solutions that use the heat generated for other things? For example, water heater, home heat, cooling via absorption chilling, etc. I see this as critical part of the mining infrastructure in the future.

Is the record high hashrate during a bear market and possibly a recession due to energy companies getting into mining?

Not sure if my comments are coming through, but please ask about home mining innovations. Who is leading in the industry right now and how can someone engage with it?

Ask him if he thinks its fair that he got a voice like God

His thoughts on mining centralization via large pools….

Same thing said to Chinese miners before

Lots to talk about:

- Is it just simply FUD?

- Will it sort itself out?

- Will large mining pools or individual miners voluntarily break up?

- Is it more/less true that “a network of decentralized individual miners holds up these pools?”

- Is any potential attack self-correcting (i.e. a know attack would likely depress BTC prices thus causing a loss for the attacker - assuming the attackers motive is profit)?

- Will advances in software or hardware technology incentivize decentralization (i.e. Stratum V2 and increased ASIC producers)?

Will home mining make a comeback and what will that look like ?

Similar to IoT do you see trend of Mining of Things, where basic household objects mine BTC. Most recently I saw the space heating miners.

Big question has to be . How will miners survive the next halving ?

Stratum v2 on foundry usa? 51% attack FUD.
