#Bitcoin

For a used laptop, around $75 to $100 on eBay with the right specs.

You could run a node on a Raspberry Pi 3, right? If so, about $35 for just the Raspberry Pi.

What's the cheapest #Bitcoin node setup someone can buy from scratch? #asknostr

Really liking the Primal client. It's probably the most responsive out of the bunch.

One day, I hope Nostr catches on and no one has to post on 17 different platforms.

It can all be done on one protocol. Notes, blogging, links, photos, videos.

Not really what I meant. If you own a multifamily that you live in and the tenant pays for most of your mortgage, your expenses would be much lower than renting an apartment. Therefore, you have more money every month to stack sats.

Doesn't really matter if the tenant pays in fiat, because the mortgage would be denominated in fiat too.

Fair enough. Probably better to let the smaller Nostr apps take the risk and see what happens to them.

I could imagine it would be possible to filter out illegal listings with some sort of user voting system, similar to community notes on Twitter.

House hacking exists. That would be considered long Bitcoin in my books.

That's a good point. It could risk the whole app. Luckily, there will probably be other Apple developers willing to take on the risk for the rest of us.
