The relays do not sync to each other. It's very disorganized.

Some of the relays purge the notes to save space. Damus relay just purged their whole relays a couple weeks ago.

You can download citrine relay and install in your phone to keep a copy of your notes. It's searches all the relays and extracts your notes.

Unfortunately the relay software doesn't sync to other relays so sometimes 1 note will be on 1 relay but not other relays.

They need to work on the relay software but it's all volunteers so progress is slow.

Oh I totally get that and it's not a complaint that it's slow! It's such a super cool thing that's been created using volunteering and I really admire it, perhaps even moreso because it's all Greek to me! I will look into citrine, thank you for the advice!

citrine is a great tool to keep a local backup of your notes! Just remember that the notes will not be accessible for others if the only place they are stored is on your phone. But a lot of clients do allow you to "rebroadcast", in case that should happen

But they can be. The whole purpose of blaster relays is to spread the note to other relay. But I'm not sure if they are still around.

ive heard that too. I could be using one and I wouldn't even know it. The relay software is not standardized. It's all over the place Makes it hard for users to understand.
