Proton Calendar usability has been poor for me and clearly one of the most unprioritized products out of Proton’s suite. I’ve stopped using it.

I’ve had headache trying to figure it out as well. Maybe adding zoom call invites will juice the calendar app KPIs?

The only products I’ll use from Proton at this point are Mail, VPN, and Drive. Though Mail has performance issues and bugs with viewing email attachments, VPN occasionally gives me connection issues, and the Photos feature in Drive seems limited. I might give nostr:npub1dd9znw7585wsam4d8p84ztdmtywwjsrayld6fzk4fvqdn5hpju4st5xe7p a shot, am attempting self-hosted calendar sync through Nextcloud, and I’m already moving my photos and videos out of Google / Apple iCloud (thanks, UK) to Ente (end-to-end encrypted).

Ente is great. Also learned through the migration process that Apple juices up the storage you use on their devices compared to others. On my iPhone, I was supposedly using around 300-400 GB in photo/video storage, but after migrating, it's down to 77 GB. I would be inclined to think that that is due to some sort of compression or loss in quality on Ente's side, but that decrease seems too substantial and quality is still good. I do hate Apple though, so maybe I'm just fishing for conspiracies...
