Did I mention readable font and smooth pages π I think I want to marry a book π₯Ή
Which is your favorite novel? I have some Austin books & may be able to send you a gift one day π
nostr:npub1l8zv3fhdntxq00u3nmrxvmrwpenpgway8y67z663t92x6hd98w3qkfkw83 we should consider some more classics like these after HHGTTG.
Iβd love to join π₯Ήππ½ I dunno what it is but Iβll be there - if youβll have me π«
Companion has a Corny Chat room named Companion's Corner that meets on Tuesday nights 10 PM eastern. We take turns reading a portion of the selected book to the group. Recently wrapped up Alice Adventure's in Wonderland a few weeks ago and are currently about ΒΌ the way through Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
It may be more practical to setup an additional weekly event for book readings and review that is more accomodating to GMT. Let me know if youd be interested in this.
This is brilliant Vic ππ―π₯
Iβm still a little shy about my voice and reading out loud π₯Ή but Iβm definitely interested π₯ Iβd love to join the eastern one (possibly anon) while I get comfortable ππ½
Iβd be interested in this for sure ππΌ
Keep me posted pls π«
oooo great idea!! I read Frankenstein with a group and that is in depth!!
Uff god, such an aesthetic cover π€€
A lot of #POW there
Debossing and foiling π itβs everything a girl could want π₯Ήππ«π«π«π
Whatβs #POW? π₯Ήsounds intriguing
Proof Of Work, someone really earned his/her paycheck doing that beautiful cover!
Jjja not only a girl! I love those neat hardcover editions. I usually first read everything on my e-reader first, and if I like it then I get a hardcover version.
Though maybe I should look for a nicer cover for my kidle π€, I stare at that thing for hours π¬πΉ
They really did π―π₯Ήπ«
Youβre right! My bad βΊοΈππ½
Oh thatβs smart! Iβll do that with paperback βΊοΈ i donβt have a kindle but Iβve heard they are rather lovely - carrying hundreds of books around without breaking a sweat sounds rather good π―
ππ€£π₯π― noo itβs brilliant, got a daily reminder there to stay humble stack and zap sats π«
I've learned to love it! I always carry it with me though
I wouldn'r recomend a Kindle if you are going to buy one, there are others with android that are more flexible woth formats and that, but kindles are ok
Intriguing, I thought kindle was the best one based on its popularity but Iβll definitely do research before hand βΊοΈπ« thank you!
It was almost the only one because it was the cheapest, but they show you ads and lock you inside they bookstore (though you can download books from your pc)
Yes. 100% yes. My home will be filled with books like this in the future.
ππ«π« will look beautiful Beave π«
I wish I could draw, because I've already designed my house in my head.
This is beautiful! I used to draw my dream house when I was little βΊοΈ lots of light. Love skylights.
Youβre a writer though Beave, your paintbrush is your pen π«π
It's a little too flowery for my bookshelf. This is all she gets.

Now thatβs a manly copy of Austenβs P&P and I love it ππ«π₯
Indeed. I'm still looking for a manly copy of Little Women. I won't buy that book until I find it (but I really want to read it).
I got my manly copy a year ago π₯Ή was hard to find ππ½

π not quite. It should have no frills. The cover should be tan or grey. The title should be slightly worn
#bookshelfts (?)
And also, if I ever get my book published, I'll be sure to personally inscribe a copy just for you and your future children. βΊοΈ
That's such a pretty book. I don't even like Jane Austen but I would own this one if I had a giant library in my house. Lol.
π€£ππ€£ππ«ππ itβs definitely big library worthy π―π
