There were some people doing paywall content, but I'm not really sure where that project's at at the moment. I'm sure someone will be able to correct me here, but I'll take a look once I get in front of the computer.
As far as Easy to use relay for diffrent groups relay.tools does hosting and is pretty easy to set up.
You could also look into setting up a group chat via an app like 0xchat. (Nostr chat app)

Trust me we have been through all these ideas in the past. Nostr for camming and streaming online SW/ nostr instead of OF . Nostr has to grow and stick. It’s still it’s early. People come and go and give up. Plus any devs wishing to do such a thing need funds to do these things.
Perfect , at least the groundwork is there, i can revisit in a few months. We need a movement of people: i will work on that for now. Get a community going, then when we have strong community ask again

But if there's clear signal that money's being left on the table, development will move faster in that direction.
There was an OF rush a while ago, but it was more like "wassup? I can put my content here without worrying about it being taken down AND i don't have to worry about giving a huge cut of my earnings? GREAT!" but the apps weren't there and there was no way for them to go viral or be seen, so they just left. I dont think nostur is the new porn hub. I dont think this app and 99% of these apps are the place for us to post our paywall content or even to advertise: BUT , i do think its an important place for our potential clients to find us, think of it as a marketplace where we have a booth and at least we are allowed to have a table at the fair. After we meet at the fair, then people can come to play with us in our spaces, we just want to be able to have a table at the fair.
And a place where we dont have to constantly re create accounts because we are shadowbanned etc
I'd almost be curious about moderation in your line of work being tricky. Between identity verification and centralized banning of users, there's a degree of sanity that can arise from the ...sometimes less than polite nature of consumers. I guess that might be something that can be addressed paid (or at least registered) relays. Sort of glad it hasn't become the issue it almost certainly will at some point. I've actually been pushing Nostr at some others in the space just to get some breathing room from the mouth breathing incel crowd. Not everyone here is going to particularly look highly on the industry, which is fine and all, but at least they're not gonna be goons either.

It's a bit confusing/overwhelming out there since there is so much development going on! Hopefully it isn't information overload.
You have a lot of options. Some may work better than others so I'll give you a lot of examples and you can see what works best for you.
You could use a Nostr app called nostr:nprofile1qqs9ajjs5p904ml92evlkayppdpx2n3zdrq6ejnw2wqphxrzmd62swspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuvrcvd5xzapwvdhk6qgdwaehxw309aukzcn49ekk2qghwaehxw309aex2mrp0yh8x6tpd4ehgu3wvdhk6ynf30t (Android and iOS) to setup chat groups. These can be public or private. You and your friends could use these to chat privately or even a client group like you mentioned.
You could get crazy and more complicated and run a relay for you and your friends. You could make it so only you can your friends post to it but the world can read from it. You could make it a public relay that everyone is able to read and write to. You could even make it a paid relay.
You could also buy a server from a web hosting company and setup a nostr:nprofile1qqs8sxs4yuz47axp7uprpugrs3sfkdz5379tdg9xe2n5qfvz070a4egprdmhxue69uhkwmr9v9ek7mnpw3hhytnyv4mz7un9d3shjqg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhx6mmnw3ezuur4vgzaq60d instance. Next, you mentioned streaming, you can live stream via zap.stream and this content does show up in several Nostr apps.
You could also hold audio only chats with clients or maybe a dom school or something discussing different topics on nostr:nprofile1qqswgz7v8cffy8kzxtlxv55w9wjatn2wq6ywf0aqswjgd2tlm2kuatcpr9mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuumwdae8gtnnda3kjctv9uqsuamnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dshsz9thwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjme05uksmz and this content shows up in some apps as well as NostrNests.com .
As for Bitcoin. I use Strike too. I use it to buy/save in bitcoin. And then I withdrawal it to a cold wallet when needed. I'll recommend a BitKey device as they are more beginner friendly. You can use Strike as a hot/spending wallet but you can also use your Primal as that too.

Some apps like Primal give you a nip-05 identifier (looks like an email). People can use that to look up your account. For example, my current nip-05 is justinbieber@stemstr.app.
Primal is on android too, as well as desktop on the web, so if you're really just getting people onboarded, it may be helpful to start there and let people venture off into some other stuff. You MAY want to work with communities to really find all of each other easily, though that may take using something other than primal (or I'm just not seeing it quickly there; I normally use Nostrudel on my desktop).
You don't NEED to have your own relay, but you may find for some of this sort of content specifically it may be helpful for cultivating the sort of things you want that other relays may not really wish to have as much anyway. Theoretically being on separate relays shouldn't matter so much anyway, given how discovery works, but I'm not the guru to get the ins and outs of how they really do work from.
As for paywalls, I have seen zpay.live used for some content, though it does require a getalby.com address for right now. I think there are other things out there but I have to say I'm not the biggest consumer of paid content (more V4V oriented myself).
I love the BDS angle of smashing through the OnlyFans nonsense, and frankly, taking some sovereignty in an industry that frankly has been pretty skeevy for...well, probably as long as it's been an industry, with regards to the pimps and analogs thereof. There will be some work that goes into really replacing all of the rails they've built, but considering they often take 50%+ as the total parasites they are, I do suspect it'll be worth it (and hopefully early adopters such as yourself can stand to reap some of the benefits of doing so).
