Trump before being elected wanted to end the bloodshed. Tulsi Gabbard wanted to end all the "regime change" wars. But after getting into office, these people are completely different. Elon Musk was all for free speech until after he bought Twitter, then he started making exception after exception.

I can think of (at least) five explanations:

1) They saw classified information that was accurate that changed their minds

2) They saw classified information that was inaccurate but deceptively crafted to change their minds

3) They never had their prior stated opinions, they just lied to get into office

4) They are being blackmailed

5) They aren't even the same people - Israel has a top secret look-alike replacement program that kills the original Trump and the original Tulsi and replaces them with look alikes

(5) is the most entertaining explanation.

I think it is pretty much all #3. These are rulers. They want to rule over the rest of us. It is the nature of government. It is good to admit it.

That is the most boring option. Also the most likely.

I do think that many that seek power think they are doing a noble thing. They think those that can think more broadly and are perhaps more brave in their thinking can choose for the rest more wisely and let humanity to a better place. I think it is largely a delusion in so many areas of life. People making the decisions that seem best and most optimal for what they value and care for as individuals over and over and in relation to others trading value for value win-win make ever so much more fine grained dynamic solutions and outcomes that benefit far more people. Relatively centralized rulers can never work at scale and as fluidly. Information bottle necks guarantee it. No way to process so much information in all its variety by a few instead of many minds.

But his hasn't sunk in so much yet. Neither for the rulers or for the majority of the people that have bought into the notion that it is right that their be rulers and that they be ruled.

Liars they are. Power thirsty.

Only people who managed their ego should manage a country, but they will refuse to do so.

Blackmailed by the NSA? That’s probably the reason why Trump don't grant a pardon to Snowden.

More like the opposite.

During the Obama administration, Obama wanted to fire Michael Rodgers (NSA Director) because he knew the truth about Eric Holders Fast and Furious operation, Obama's real identity, and other shit.

Rogers was also the FISA court whistleblower and personally went and questioned the judge of her actions and lack of information.

Rogers along with General Flynn was how candidate Trump found out about the Trump Tower wiretapping/bugging.

Once Trump was in office Obama told Trump to avoid General Flynn and not hire him. Trump didn't give a shit and hired him anyway. Later pardoned him as is now an advisor in his current administration.

So did Rodgers (NSA) help candidate Trump or right a wrong of the previous administration?

I dont think the president can be blackmailed as it would be a national security threat. Delta force would take them out immediately.

haha good one

We remember (few weeks ago) when Trump had the Resolute Desk removed because it was bugged.

Blackmailing is definitely possible.

"No matter who you vote for, you're getting John McCain"

Tulsi did a recon mission in Syria to find more information about McCain's weapons dumping. When she came back she went directly to President Trump and briefed Congress.

The day after John McCain stated that his brain cancer came back he died.

Shit Stain McCain as a "war hero" was not allowed to be buried at Arlington.

John McCain's daughter openly said on live TV that "Trump can't kill my Dad again." My question was, when was the first time?

Was McCain executed for treason and that's why he was not allowed to be buried at Arlington? 🤔

It's always N°3. They just follow a narrative that will get them to office.

At this point, assume all are possible, everything is batshit crazy now

I should add (6) which I think is at least part of it:

6) They haven't really changed their minds, but find that they have to fall in line to maintain their position of power.

6) A veto from the architect

My wife's opinion, before any of them got in office (even RFK and Tulsi) is 3.

I prefer option 5, though it doesn't need to be Israel. I have a theory the IC pipes gas into the presidential bedroom and then do the body swap.

Maybe it's just asbestos, lead paint and radon

It's call the Fuck Around and Find Out option. Not their fault people ask for Find Out.

I too want peace and low drama every day at work and just like the Trump administration I also warn them every step of the way. If they decide to fuck around and piss me off I have no problem leaving their million dollar projects sit till they calm their ass down or I go the fuck home.

99% of the time shit will be right where I left it the next day, because I'm their guy that does cool shit!

It is probably a mix of 1-4.

And concerning 5, they at least successfully did it with Joe Biden?!

Was it successful though, really? 😏

What they didn't say is more important. Their actions show who they really are.

6) They are being bribed

Almost certainly a mix of these in varying proportions, primarily carrot/stick and manipulation through deceptive information. Then again I am discounting plain old lying because I don't see myself doing that, which is stupid. Politicians lie.

can Israel provide me with a few extra Tulsi look alikes ?

i could use some ...

For science

Or more than one of the above.

Careful, the explaination to be acted upon is the one that informs the future. This is the way information creates the future, not the truth. Whether the future works is the real test.

Hi mike 🤟🏴‍☠️😉 Fascinating thought experiment! It’s intriguing how power, information, and influence can shift someone’s stance so drastically. The idea that powerful figures change after stepping into office is nothing new, but the reasons behind it can be more complex than we realize. While #5 might sound like a sci-fi plot, the psychological and political forces at play behind the scenes are probably more mundane but still incredibly powerful. What do you think is the most likely scenario?
