getting ready for a social function
in a weird turn of events my wife actually approved of the outfit I’m wearing, but instructed “just get the wrinkles out of the shirt with the steamer”
I mean…I know I’m an adult, a dad, and a doctor and shit…but I’m having a really, really hard time fighting the urge to steam this shirt while wearing it as it seems like unnecessary steps to take off and put back on…
please advise

Just wear an undershirt, spray the dress shirt with a fine water mist while it’s hanging on a hanger, wait five minutes. Voila! A pressed (enough) looking shirt! If you’re wearing a jacket of some kind, even better, less visual exposure. I expect my doctors to be a little rumpled and eccentric. I hope they have better things to focus on than preening.
I’d try doing it while you’re wearing it, in the closet. Don’t let her see!
