Conventional Ignorant doctor...

“Low carb can be associated with elevated cholesterol “

“Elevated cholesterol can be associated with heart disease”

“Don’t do low carb”

A good doctor...

Every cell in your body makes cholesterol if you don't eat enough.

This happens in All mammals.

Therefore, don't worry about your cholesterol level, worry about your A1c and Fasting Insulin (metabolic fitness).

What’s A1c? I just got diagnosed with bad cholesterol, and of course prescribed perma-meds.

hemoglobin a1cb is basically your 3 month average glucose and is one of the main markers they use to diagnose diabetes.

luckily most people can quiet easily stabilise their blood sugar levels with lifestyle and diet

👍🏻🫡Yeah(and I’m a doctor)

My older brother has been diagnosed pre diabetic and high cholesterol. I think he is now on satins, what would you suggest I say to him or send to him that could give him some alternative points of view. Thank you.

Look up Peter Attia and study his content on these subjects

Thank you. Will do

It’s too much common sense 😏🫢🤣

I still struggle with anxiety about this but it just seems so unlikely that cholesterol is killing us when prior generations ate way more fat, and now we are eating a bunch of garbage that didnt used to exist

Fat isn’t cholesterol and the cholesterol you consume does not impact your serum cholesterol levels.

This is what I’ve heard but then why does cholesterol go up on carnivore/keto diets?

for real.

I've got blood clot at 16 by ONE energy drink. and every time i eat a lot of carbs or even add caffeine of it, i feel fatigued, sluggish, and as if heart has to work harder.

when i went to full carnivore, i had... bleeding gums for few days. which is strange for "cholesterol makes blood clots" idea.

and then they stopped bleeding, and i feel only every every day.

You had better pay attention to ApoB Doc. There is ample evidence that high levels are a direct cause of ASCVD.
