I am pretty happy that he got elected ngl and not because of the ngu (although I'm not upset about that). As a US citizen the worst case scenario to me is a ban on self custody, a 50% capital gains tax, increasingly deranged fud from the establishment, and/or a tax on unrealized gains.
With Trump I don't expect any of those worse case scenarios to come to pass (some of which would make me a criminal and consider leaving the country which I'm not keen on doing atm). I'd much prefer the free for all deregulated shitcoin circus. But that's just me.

They (nation states) are a new cohort. Every cohort has to go through the adoption cycle. At the beginning of the cycle snake oil salesmen show up because that is when customers are most vulnerable. They haven’t learned yet to separate noise from signal. This is natural and I would argue good. It gives the converts from the last cycle more time to make up for past mistakes. There will always be smart money, the trick is to become smart money as soon as possible.
