That's what I did. I'm too skinny. Maybe that is where my body is supposed to af. But I don't think it's safe to have skin over bones on certain parts.

I agree with the weight training approach tho I haven't had success so I figured if i could add a bit more meat/fat on my body then train, it mihht be better.

Plus even tho I had success on carnivore diet before, I'm not entirely convinced of it. I know you're on keto and that's not exactly the same. I do think everybody's situation is different.

I haven’t met you in person, but I highly doubt you’re “too skinny” if you’re eating regular, full meals. And based on your posts, I think that’s the case 🤣. If you look at old photos, lots of people had skin on bone. I think we’ve been conditioned to accept heavier as healthy because that’s how society looks now. I do agree that everyone is different when it comes to diet and what everyone can handle though.

Haha idk some part of me is skin over bones. I mean you can see my ribs...so...

Like you know that skeleton costume for Halloween 🤣🤣

Haha. I can see my ribs as well. I’m in the best shape of my life, and feel amazing. I would not be concerned with that, unless you’re headed out on the show Alone.

Lol I don't get the reference.

Hmm I interesting about you being able to see your ribs too.

Great show. Highly recommend. Free weights and body weight resistance have provided the muscle that I feel comfortable and good with, and that’s pretty much it. Just my personal experience.

"Alone" is a reality series show on American television where 10 people are stationed outdoors, alone (in separate remote locations), and a prize is awarded to the person who survives the longest.

Many of the contestants will intentionally put on extra weight before starting the quest, so as to have additional fat reserves while surviving on whatever they can forage/hunt/fish.

What did you consider as success when you were on the carnivore diet?

And I understand your skepticism; it probably doesn't help that there are many similar diets out there right now that are all low carb, each with its own reasoning about what is OK or necessary to ingest.

I lost 60 pounds low carb, stalled out, lost another 75 carnivore (while adding muscle) & seem to be chipping away at the 30ish I still need to lose

I'm also much more positive / less depressed

I've been carnivore for about 2 years and experience unpleasant effects of trying different keto-type deviations (eg meat products with celery, dark chocolates, nuts etc)

So I stick to carnivore
