I lucid dream like once a month. Never do reality checks or journal though (used to). I use spinning, rubbing my hands and screaming (well once) to stabilize the dreams though :D Post the reliable techniques as soon as you learn them, really interested!

thats impressive. I almost always needed a reality test. the book describes some people who are hyper observant and can detect things slightly wrong with the environment. I wonder if women are better at this since they have brains that have a better attention to detail.
huh. is there a research-based source for “women have brains that have better attention to detail”?
yeah maybe google "women diffuse awareness" or something. i don't know if its a well studied phenomenon but its an empircal one that I have talked to lots of women about and they seem to agree
there might be a word for it but I've always called it diffuse awareness
its also why women can see the dust on all the surfaces and most men don't think about it at all 😅 very common.
o…k…. I will look into it. Everything you just said is news to me.
Lord of the Rings is very detailed.
Observation of relevant details is an important skill in pretty much every area of work.
with the dust thing, I literally just had an experience where I realized I hadn’t dusted anything in one room for a year. And then after I did, my partner (male) noticed the dust on the computer screen that I overlooked/didn’t notice.
its possible its not linked to male/female, but different types of brains. or maybe its slightly more common in women.
It is really interesting. I often lucid dream but I have never done reality checks. I normally know something is off. Past few months if a dream involves a physical activity of any kind (lifting, running, exercising) and I notice that it is too easy to do it I know it is a lucid dream.
Last night was fun. I was running away from the Taliban while carrying a huge pile of pork. At some point I noticed that I am not getting tired so I decided to "add" some flying to the running. Unfortunately the moment I took off my alarm rang 🥲
