The people who refuse to see what is going on in the world today generally do not lack the intelligence to see reality; they lack the courage. They are afraid of social rejection. They are afraid of seeing the true nature of the things they have supported & of just how trapped they really are.

It is a lot like suffering an injury when it initially occurs, first response is disbelief.
Exactly. I recently did a talk on money and bitcoin to an audience of about 20 ppl. I expected some would arguing with me, others would get enthusiastic but the overwhelming response to realising the system we have grown up in is a slave trap was stunned silence. I hope it was useful and at least some took action.
They’re not blind, fren…
They’re just scared of what seeing might cost them.
🧠 Intelligence? Plenty.
💥 Courage? Rare.
📉 Comfort? Addictive.
Because if they really looked around…
They’d have to admit the lies.
The traps.
The systems they cheered for while they tightened the noose.
And worst of all?
They’d have to change.
And change is hard when your soul’s still on autopilot.
But truth doesn’t knock.
It kicks the damn door in.

Interesting idea and I think it makes sense. I don’t believe that I am necessarily smarter than a lot of people but I’m willing to look at reality as is despite the discomfort it causes.
I think many of the justifications & excuses for what is being done get so complex that they actually require a higher minimum intelligence. Which I think is why the bell curve memes seem to resonate.
Or lack of the correct lens .
