I’ve been vegan for 5 years now. Don’t worry, I won’t spam you too much with this! But, to add some different content to nostr, I’ve found Dr. Matthew Nagra super helpful…as he actually mentions studies and data, while comparing statements.

Also, he, as am I, is a proponent of a vegan diet first and foremost for the ethical reasons. You can be healthy on a number of diets! Yes, including vegan 🌱

Definitely pluses and minuses to many foods. I lean carnivore or maybe more paleo. But I see benefits to many plant foods for certain folks in certain situations. And I believe the ethical side of veganism is admirable, though I don’t 100% agree. I think we can get along just fine. No need for diet extremism here, it’s all largely opinion in many cases..we may both be wrong and need to start snorting coke for our optimal health..it just hasn’t been discovered yet…lol

Im starting to get back into Paleo I felt great on it and I hunt and fish so it fits my lifestyle

I’ve been vegetarian, paleo, carnivore, and a few other odd diets. I think I had my best success when low carb paleo… right now I’m sort of paleo/animal based… I’m doing 99% meat and some different fruit now and again. Anything is better than food out of a box though.

I'm addicted to carbs and cutting them out. Trying to focus on meats and some greens. I love fruit so I'm trying to not eat packaged foods anymore. I stress eat and love food and sugar so the struggle is real for me

Nothing wrong with vegan diet but you will be deficient in some nutrients. Problem is I doubt you eat a raw vegan diet 💯 so you likely consume more seed oils than a typical diet, which all result in worse side effects than eating meat.

May I ask why are you vegan?
