Replying to An Obvious Alt

It depends. I'd like to think I'd go for respect, but I also know I'd get really frustrated eventually, and that would probably lead to a lack of respect. And, actually, judging from my last few relationships, I probably ping pong between them.

i think the ping-ponging occurs because *both* are important for a man—well, most of us.

it kinda like the love languages stuff. sure, we have preferences to a degree, but typically the one(s) we desire most is the one we lack at the moment.
