I absolutely love how common it is for nostr devs to have kids / families.
I hadn’t seen this be so common in any other “industry” I’ve worked at

Kids maybe give a heightened urgency in respect to the need for change.
I just say it:
I trust people more when they have a family and prioritize it over the business I'm conducting with them.

The family man reads that I am willing to make a sacrifice to his family. That is a strong bond, I feel most comfortable building on that.

That’s amazing. I never went into a dev office because it always was a only men place with some nasty woman’s for the dirty work. Having a place for family is so much better.

I've gotten pretty used to the anti-natalist attitude of mass culture. My wife has even gotten grief from people at the grocery store from time to time. Meeting so many nostriches and bitcoiners with 3+ kids was a huge breath of fresh air. There is so much hope in children.

I can feel the sense of disgust from some people when I travel with my very-pregnant wife and my young daughter, the looks of "you're killing the planet" and such... it's so sad realizing so many people have fallen under the spell of anti-humanism 😕
