It started with something like luck, nostr:nprofile1qqsp4lsvwn3aw7zwh2f6tcl6249xa6cpj2x3yuu6azaysvncdqywxmgprpmhxue69uhhqun9d45h2mfwwpexjmtpdshxuet5qyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnhd9hx2qtxwaehxw309anxjmr5v4ezumn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tmwwp6kyvtjw3k8zcmp8pervct409shwdtwx45rxmp4xseryerdx3ehy7f4v3axvet9xsmrjdnxw9jnsuekw9nh2ertwvmkg6n5veen7cnjdaskgcmpwd6r6arjw4js2ml2z8.

In the aftermath of the block size war, the number begain to head up towards 18k.

A guy on the radio in Dallas started talking about it. I wanted to hear about the Cowboys. I heard about bitcoin instead.

Over on Facebook, my cousin started talking about crypto. My wife follows him and started paying attention.

Then in Dec. 2017, I went to buy a new video card at Frys. No can do. All out of stock. Shitcoin miners were buying them all up.

I texted my cousin to see if this thing was legit. He said yes, and I set up my first bitcoin wallet.

That sounds a lot like either luck or Providence.

After that, it was up to me. That's when the universe stops talking and you start acting. Everything else that came after has been a ton of hard work and perseverance.

But I can't claim that it started because I was smart and intuitive. My experience with bitcoin began because it was repeatedly tossed at my feet. I just happened to be curious about what it was.

I won my first 35.0btc in a cod 1v1 wager match in 2011… This was CRITICAL to my success… 1. I accepted it as PAYMENT before I accepted it as an “asset” and 2. It taught me that in fiat world PEOPLE are your competitors/enemy cuz it was an India 🇮🇳 dude who paid me it BROKE the India scammer view and UNLOCKED Bitcoin making PEOPLE my allies!!! 🫡💯❤️

Happenstance can help you begin a journey but it can’t sustain it

I know that oh too well. But more people are unable to get themselves to start the journey than give up once it gets going.

I purposefully didn’t put much effort into the first of these vlogs because it’s most important to just start and figure it out as you go.

iterative improvements win. there is no perfect launch

Absolutely I’m a big believer in showing up and intentionally sucking at first. Gets you over the hurdle of perfectionism and lets you actually start improving.

THIS.

they look good, though. looks like you spent a little money on gear.

About $300 nothing crazy

You make your own luck

I think it cuts both ways:

If you're losing look inside

If you're winning acknowledge your blessings

Stay humble

Very similar story here. The search for what’s true in this world leads us to many unexpected places.
