Do you prefer long posts or a thread of multiple sequential posts?

On x.com you can have both! nostr:npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc

Long. What the fuck is that shit?

A thread is more reaction and reach friendly ^^

Long post

I just don't like X. Do what you want to.

I liked that thread as it made it easier to like, share and comment on a paragraph but ideally something like highlighter would allow that on a long form post.

I would prefer multiple threads that expand into conversations might be easier to adopt and understand by users.

Long threads can be dumps that create no expansion trails or engagement.

I think multiple posts is better for the average reader.

I absolutely hate long Twitter threads. Sure, it makes it easy to pick specific parts to comment on but reading it sucks big time. It's also very inconvenient for free Twitter users because they rate limit you after reading a certain amount of tweets in one day.

No one got it. My point here was that if you have a thread of long posts, each of which you have to click to go to a new page in order to read, that is the absolute worst of all worlds.

In any case Gigi is right.

No idea what this thread is about, but i object to this statement out of principle

I

think

posts

should

be

small

j.k.

I think Fiatjaf needs to drink some alcohol so he’s not so grumpy 🍷😂💜

i prefer my own site where i can combine posts, move them from thread to thread, edit them 2 years later and so on ...

One long post…easier to follow. Multiple posts are an artificial way to drive engagement.

Eu prefiro ter o poder de controlar a discussão em uma postagem minha. Como por exemplo limitar a quantidade de replica.

Acho que as pessoas deveriam pensar antes de falar. Ouvir mais do que falar mais; e discutir menos.
