Your body is proof of work (or lack thereof)

I've gained 35lbs in the past year and am stronger than I've ever been.

No gear. No peptides. No fad diet. No counting macros or even calories.

Just consistent hard work in the gym and common sense nutrition.

Great work there man 👍 and I know your super strong too. 💪

So I have a similar fitness regiment — CrossFit, lifting, etc. I used to take the same approach but as I got more serious about CrossFit, I started wondering why I wasn’t taking the diet as seriously. I will tell you that tracking your macros and ensuring you’re fueling your body correctly is a game changer. I’d highly recommend the RP Diet app — very popular tool among CrossFitters and lifters. The extra 2-5% progress you’ll get out of it is worth it. Once you measure food and experience the precision, it will change your mindset.

Oh I used to have it dialed in for years when I competed and had to make weight. I dont think the extra effort and restrictions are really necessary for non-professional athletes or unless you're looking for drastic results like losing a lot of weight.

I just eat a lot of protein, minimal sugar (mostly simple sugars pre-workout), and the rest comes easy. Cook 98% of meals at home and avoid the processed đź’©

Great on you for having the discipline though 👍

Appreciate your perspective and insight! It’s clearly working really well for you

Bench 295

Back Squat 385

Deadlift 485

I've benched 315 and squatted 405 before but I'm currently stronger overall
